You will be supporting a lady living independently in her own single-tenancy home, receiving 2:1 support. She has a warm, chatty, and engaging personality and enjoys building positive relationships with those around her. She uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with personal care and daily living tasks.
This role has a strong focus on mental health support. The lady has a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder, and other complex needs. Your role will involve providing consistent, emotionally attuned support, helping her to manage distress, regulate emotions, and maintain her wellbeing in a safe, structured, and compassionate way.
You will work in line with positive behaviour support, trauma informed practice, and person centred care plans to promote stability, independence, and quality of life.
